Through its 2026 Outstanding Community Member Awards, Calhoun Liberty Credit Union celebrates everyday heroes across Calhoun and Liberty counties, neighbors whose service strengthens the community, honored with a $1,000 donation in each winner’s name.
This year, 26 nominations were sent in, each one a story of someone quietly making Calhoun and Liberty counties a better place to live. Four people stood out.
Today’s spotlight celebrates Calhoun County winner Taylor Hall.
Congratulations, Taylor!

Taylor doesn’t wait to be asked, she sees a need and steps in to help. At school, she packs food and necessities for children in need through Blessings in a Backpack. Around town, she joins beautification projects and volunteers her artwork for schools, organizations, and community projects.
That artistic talent is also her small business: painting banners and business windows. But just as often, she gives that same skill away, brightening a local storefront, supporting a school project, or lending a hand wherever help is needed. As her nominator shared, Taylor has learned at a young age that making a difference doesn’t always require doing something huge.
For Taylor, volunteering is much more than checking off service hours. She genuinely enjoys helping others and she makes it a priority alongside a remarkable schedule.
She’s an all-A student with a 4.0+ GPA taking dual-enrollment courses at Chipola College. She serves as Florida FCCLA Vice President of Parliamentary Law after previously serving as District President, and at school holds roles as Senior Beta Vice President, SGA Vice President, yearbook co-editor, STEM and SWAT Club member, and class president for the third year running.
She also made school history as its first female golfer, still the only girl on the team, competing with pride and determination.
What truly sets Taylor apart, her nomination notes, can’t be measured by GPA, titles, or awards. It’s what she chooses to do with her time and talents: using her abilities and opportunities to serve the people around her.
“She is already leading, serving, and making a difference right now.”
In Taylor’s honor, $1,000 was donated to the Florida Motorcycle Safety Program, a statewide initiative under the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles working to reduce motorcycle crashes, injuries, and fatalities through education and outreach.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination and shined a light on people like Taylor. Your voices make this program possible and ensure quiet dedication doesn’t go unseen.
